When Ami was 6 her home planet got destroyed by Cell, so she ran away from Abssolum (her home planet). Then came to Earth, for revenge. But it was years before Cell had arrived, so she battled King Piccolo and that's when she met Goku. After King Piccolos defeat, she met her son (Piccolo Jr) and fell in love. But when Piccolo told Ami he hated her, she was being sarcastic and killed her father (BlackSaber) for what he had done to make Absolum a dark planet.
